About Us
The QualTel vision is to bring cost-effective messaging communications to everyone in world. To this end the company recently acquired the intellectual property of a former supplier of turnkey enhanced services systems. This is the foundation of the new product "MessageNet". The product is a set of software building blocks for service providers and systems integrators to create cost-effective service applications. QualTel Incorporated was originally founded in 1998 to provide technical support and software development services to several large enhanced messaging service providers in Europe and Asia.
QualTel is positioned to change the way that
messaging solutions are sold to the service provider market. The
QualTel MessageNet product allows either systems integrators or
the service providers to create the solution that makes sense for
their business - either integrating MessageNet into their product
offering (product integrator) or into their infrastructure
(service provider). This software-only technology solution enables
and enhances revenue-generating unified communications applications.

Executive Profile
QualTel's executive-level managers are very experienced
in the enhanced telecom services
market. They have
the technical, marketing, sales, and financial management
expertise to ensure QualTel’s viability in the market.
They have identified and recruited a core
team of developers, support engineers and marketing professionals
who have joined the founders in building the company.
This team, many of who have worked together at previous
companies, have begun to enable the company to become productive
and competitive.
Forest Ralph – (CEO)
has served as Chief Financial Officer for three venture-backed
technology start-ups. His management experience includes five
years in international and technology banking with Chase and
Marine Midland in New York City, six years with Dole Foods, and
six years in business development and strategic finance with
President Baking. Mr. Ralph is a Certified Management Accountant
and has an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
John
Pucknell – (CTO)
has 30 years experience in the telecom business. Mr. Pucknell
brings significant relevant experience in the service provider
messaging market, as he has worked for several of the major
vendors to this market, including Unisys, Syntellect and Comverse.
He has held various Vice President titles and has been on the
executive management team of four companies.
Scott
Shinault – (Vice President Engineering)
has over 15 years experience in telecom software systems. Mr. Shinault brings an in-depth understanding of software engineering on
large-scale systems in the domestic and international
telecom arena. He has worked on the development and management
teams at AT&T Bell Laboratories and Atlas Telecom and has a
stellar record of product design and delivery.
Sal
DeCaro – (Vice President Sales) has over 30 years
experience in sales and business development in the telecom
industry. Mr. DeCaro has held many senior positions within
Lucent/AT&T including Vice President Service Provider
Solutions Lucent Technologies, EMEA. He has an impressive proven track
record ramping up and running businesses in national and
international markets for both enterprise and service provider
segments.
Christian Wilde –
(Senior Director Sales &
Marketing) brings a varied
entrepreneurial background to QualTel, strong in negotiating and
creative marketing skills having run his own company serving the
telecom, service provider and messaging industry for 21 years. Mr.
Wilde had held VP positions in two other diverse industries before
entering the telecom field. He has authored and published two
books
